About us
Wealth benchmarks™ is a private, independent service operated by the Wealth benchmarks™ trust1.
We are not owned by, nor do we share individual information with any financial institution or government.
This service was founded in 2006 by Dr Douglas Turek, a wealth advisor and ex-management consultant. (The latter at The Boston Consulting Group where Doug managed several benchmarking studies for organisations to share information anonymously and make more informed business decisions).
"The idea for this service originated in discussions with clients who asked 'How do we compare?' and the discovery there were no relevant benchmarks available to answer this. Along the way we found we could help people become more interested in their finances and provide a tool to help professionals have strategic discussions with their clients to demonstrate the value of their advice. We also hope our ratios become embedded in the way people think and communicate about wealth"
